MINA AND MARCUS (A SHORT KIDS STORY 1)

There lived a little girl called Mina and her younger brother called Marcus. Mina was always picking on Marcus and teased him because of his slow speech and stuttering.  Meanwhile, Mina had this doll she loved called Selena, she took care of the doll and always combed her long hair, she even made a small bed for her doll and wished her doll will speak to her.

Marcus' birthday was coming soon and Mina was thinking of what kind of gift to give to him. she decided to use her savings to buy a ball because Marcus loved to play football, and made her mind not to tease Marcus on his birthday.

 When the day came, Mina gave Marcus his gift and gave him a big hug which surprised Marcus but he was happy his sister was being so nice to him because he always felt hurt when she teased and picked on him.

Mina, as usual, went to get her doll ready for bed, as she
combed her long hair she wished her doll would speak when suddenly Mina heard a little voice say 'that was a nice thing you did for Marcus today, thank you Mina, I love you too.

Minna was so ecstatic and from that day she decided she would be nice to her brother Marcus and even her friends too.

After a transaction at an ATM  booth, I observed a young lady tapping her feet impatiently on the queue to use the atm. I looked at her face and noticed it had different colour patches, her knuckles, hands and legs were not left out as she wore a short gown that showed her skin. PREPARING FOR WORK IN THE MIDST OF COVID-19

Hi guys I am sure we have heard there will be partial ease of the lockdown from the 4th of May. However, there is an urgent need to be extra careful now as we are not out of the woods yet.  A lot of people will be out so please maintain strict hygiene rules, social distancing, use of hand santizers and wearing of facial mask. Now speaking of masks, those who make the homemade mask need to take fit and comfortability into consideration over and above financial gains. The elastic at the edges are tight, making the wearer forget the rules about touching the face in trying to adjust the mask. If you are entering a bus please be careful and ensure they adhere to the 60percent carrying capacity, make sure the conductor and driver are wearing mask and gloves and have hand sanitizers. I know that a lot of entrepreneurs and workers especially in the private sector have a lot of concerns and I imagine those who run event centres and entertainers will have a lull in bus...
